COLLABORATIONS

THE JOURNEY OF A STEM CELL

The Journey of a Stem Cell is an educational, interactive children’s book about stem cells. Published through the VISTA program at Louisiana Tech University, The Journey of a Stem Cell inspired a collection of VISTA published books: The Journey Series.

I collaborated with writers Dr. Jamie Newman and Rebecca Hodnett to create an engaging and informational book for  kids and families to better understand the exciting research scientists such as Dr. Newman have been making in the field of regenerative medicine as well as to inspire readers to consider how stem cell research could affect them or their loved ones in the future.

I have included some excerpts from the book below.

POLITICAL CAMPAIGN

This collaborative campaign project was completed in the Fall of 2019 as a collaboration effort with Leslie Townsend, a graduating Marketing major at Louisiana Tech University.

We worked together for 9 weeks to research target audiences and create persona profiles, branding and style guides, a website, social media pages, posters, a pamphlet, brochures, a billboard designs, and even a process book to show how we created this campaign from scratch.

JESSICA TRINH

I created this 2D animation for an academic assignment in 2018. This video is a “movie trailer/bio” about my classmate, Jessica Trinh.

PAINTER'S PALETTE

I created this quick and simple logo animation for a local art studio, Painter's Palette.

LAMP EYES

I created this quick animated short for fun in order to further celebrate this strange illustration that I created for a digital painting assignment.

UI/UX Design

I have academic experience in web and app design, and am proficient in Adobe XD, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.

I enjoy problem-solving and collaborating with others in order to come up with fresh solutions for a more efficient and engaging user interface.

BRANDING

PARKINSON RESOURCE CENTER

In 2019, under the VISTA program at Louisiana Tech University, I had the opportunity to collaborate with Jessica Trinh to create this logo, as well as a banner design for the Parkinson Resource Center.

This work was also recently featured on KNOE news.

HAPPY CHOCOLATE COMPANY

For this academic project, I was randomly assigned one of three fake businesses to rebrand including a logo, full stationary set, a poster, and an additional branded product. For my company, I decided to focus my efforts into a chocolate company that proudly advocates the benefits of high quality medicinal cannabis edibles.

For my additional branded product, I designed a deck of playing cards promoting the Happy Chocolate Company.

BOOK DESIGN

I designed this book cover for the classic Grimm Brothers fairytale, Sweetheart Roland. I really enjoyed conceptualizing and creating fresh imagery for this timeless fable.

Map Design

At the end of 2022, I was asked to redesign a cemetery map which needed to be brought into this century. Using the old map as a reference, I was able to design an updated digital version that will last in the years to come.
